Welcome Pullers!

Dear Canoe Clubs

We look forward to hosting you at our 29th Penn Cove Water Festival Canoe Races in Coupeville, WA on Saturday, May 18, 2024!

Thank you to everyone who has pre-registered and given us your t-shirt needs, that will make registration go much faster! If you are coming and haven't pre-registered, please email Susan Berta as soon as possible.

To accommodate all participants in the safest and fairest manner possible and respect the needs of the community, we have established these parking guidelines:

Pullers are encouraged to use the Boat Launch parking area for canoe storage and staging when feasible. There will be racks for 6-man and smaller canoes and sawhorses available for 11-man canoes. Vehicles can be driven into the Boat Launch parking area to drop off canoes, then parked nearby. There will be designated parking across 9th street in a grassy area with the sign Boat Launch Overflow Parking.

Parking at the boat launch itself is allowed on a first-come-first-served basis so long as there is room for racers and emergency vehicles to enter and exit. After that point, additional racer vehicles will be directed to  the overflow lot. There will be volunteers to assist you with unloading and in finding the parking areas.

Please note: Parking on the streets of Coupeville is illegal and the “NO PARKING” signs cannot be moved. Police will be on duty to ensure emergency vehicles have access to the water and to enforce parking regulations.

See the PARKING MAP for information on parking lots and shuttle routes
